Our Approach

Lydia believes therapy can help clients understand their extreme worth, hold their heads and hearts a little higher, and recognize they are courageous and strong despite the challenges they have faced. And because she is someone who is committed to constantly pursuing growth and healing in her own life, she is passionate about any opportunity she has to help someone else on their own journey to do the same. Lydia thinks that providing a supportive and safe physical and emotional space is an essential starting point for the client. This safe space helps the client launch as they work to identify what holds them back, what gets in the way and what they want to overcome to accomplish their unique goals (even if they have little to no idea how to name these things at the start). Lydia is trained in a variety of treatment modalities, but takes her cues from the client to determine which approach is best for their particular needs and desires.
